Spin Cycle: Cobbler

This week's Spin Cycle topic is recipes, so I thought I'd share one with you that is so easy it can hardly even be called a recipe. I got it a few years ago from Raleys' Something Extra magazine and used it most recently to make these little bitty cobblers from the spoils off our blackberry bush (we got more than expected but still not enough for a whole pie).

Fold the blackberries (or I would imagine this would work well with other kinds of fruit too) into some complimentary jam (like, uh. blackberry). Spread the goop into a (greased) pan, crumble oatmeal cookies on top and bake. (I don't know, 350 F or so, maybe 15 minutes or until it's all hot.)

So yummy!

I'm sending this to my non-cooking son and step-daughter. It sounds absolutely wonderful and they'd have no excuse not to make it!
