My computer came came back from the repair place last week (more about that later). Right around the same time our internet went out. Now I have both again, but I kind of got used to not being on the computer much. I am also having a hard time getting used to firebirdluver's new work schedule (he went from 4-10's to an 8-on, 6-off schedule. I am still trying to figure out how to manage our time best around the new schedule (and then there's managing around the baby... but that's the kind of chaos you'd think we'd be used to by now).
I have lots of things to post when I can, but in the meantime, some basic updates:
After months of pulling himself around on his belly, Baloo has finally decided he prefers being up on his knees, and boy can he get around fast from this new position. He still can't keep up with his brothers, but he tries. He is also now proficient at cruising and getting into a sitting position on his own. And he's a climber. He is very good at getting himself into positions he cannot get out of on his own.
Around the time my computer was kaput, I released my latest Spoonflower collection, Under Construction (based on the scrapbooking kits I did a few years back). It is already proving popular, especially the Diamond Plate fabric. I am very excited. I've already made almost enough from it to buy some for myself. (This isn't the most profitable hobby, but it sure is fun.)
Last month we bought a Kindle Fire (another customer service story I need to share), and we are all loving it. Beeper wants to buy his own so he doesn't have to share it with everyone. I am thinking of eventually getting him this (if they ever stock them). Has anyone heard anything about them?
