If you have recently gotten a strange text from either of us, please read on for an explanation. If not, feel free to read anyway. A while back, firebirdluver and I bought new phones. We ended up getting the same kind, because they looked like good phones, they were one of those "one cent if you renew your contract" deals, and there weren't a lot of other options. You see, we have been staying away from getting smart phones. Among other reason, we don't want to have to pay for a data package. We just wanted some basic flip phones. Firebirdluver wanted something ruggedized, since his phones tend to get some abuse at work, which they phones are. Unfortunately, these phones turned out to be a little quirky in different ways, as well as containing some features we don't care for. One problem we have had is phantom messaging. Our phones have both been randomly sending out messages on their own. Firebirdluver's sends out the message, "No you don't have to come," frequently to various numbers. I myself have received it four or five times (or more - I lost count). My phone has been occasionally informing people I am, "In a meeting." Where this message originated, I have no idea (maybe it's a default thing?), but if you have received these or similar confusing messages from either of us, feel free to disregard them. In other news, I apologize for not being good about updating everyone on our recent doings. We are mostly doing the same things we have always done, just more of it. If you are interested, right now a better place to follow me would be on flickr. I have put up several new collections on Spoonflower recently, and while I haven't been so good in posting about them here, I have been posting about them on flickr. Well, mostly. I still have a couple to photograph and put up.
